Some of you may know about my nomadic lifestyle already from either following me on IG, Whats App or Tumblr and some of you may have never heard of BushMama before. Those of you who already know BushMama, please bare with me while I introduce myself and share my story with my new supporters.

MY STORY:
My name is BushMama and I am a qualified BushDoctor (Master Herbalist) and Nutritionist, Garifuna Elder, Healer, Mystik, Lover, Nomad, VEGAN & creative heARTist. 

The AncESTRALS (Ancestors/Ancestresses) have been guiding my footsteps from a tender young age but I wasn't fully aware of this truth until very recently. Strangers would stop me in the streets to tell me very strange but truthful messages and revelations, which always worked out to benefit my highest purpose but I never thought for one minute ever, that those strangers were giving me direct messages from my AncESTRALS.

A perfect stranger, who I had met in Brixton, London (nearly 2 1/2 years ago) mentioned two profound things during a somewhat deep conversation, that touched the core of my soul forever. He told me to prepare for my mama's transition (death) and to leave the UK.

His prophecy came to pass on both accounts. I cared for my mama until her end of life and then left the UK. Prior to me leaving, I went through the most challenging transmutation in my entire life. It was like a part of me had died too when mama transitioned. I had experienced excessive mental and emotional trauma, while caring for her. It was a very painful transmutation for both mama and I. The only way we could deal with our harsh reality was through accepting and embracing death together whole heartedly and bravely. I received profound mystikal support all through out my mama's transition from the AncESTRALS. 

There was a voice inside, telling me I had to carry on the work my mama hadn't finished. My mama is/was a very strong, loving, caring & spiritual wombman but feared her power. I witnessed her help and feed hundreds of people. 

The AncESTRALS began entering my dreams on a regular basis with clear instructions and guidance. The urgency to leave the UK was beyond my control. I left the UK in 2016 with only £2500 to my name, not knowing what would unfold on my journey forward but that still small voice inside was telling me everything would be ok. I trusted the guidance and ended up in Barbados.

I had left the UK with the deepest intention to mourn mama, heal, uncover more of myself and build an eco cabin out of local reclaimed wood, just for the tangible experience. I had spent too much personal time online studying permaculture, self sufficiency, sustainability, growing food & following the tiny house movement not to put what I had learned into practice. That way of living just felt right to me and turned me on enough to want to experience it in my personal reality. 

I didn't know how building an eco cabin would come about but my first eco cabin manifested last year with blood, sweat and tears. I built my first eco cabin out of used palettes and bamboo, with the help of not so faithful workmen. After 7 long challenging months, I had managed to create a two bedroom self contained eco cabin (image below), which accommodated my self sufficient lifestyle, which I loved and experienced for about 2-3 months. 

Back-A-Yard Barbados was birthed.
